To tackle the problem of unemployment, Taank Brothers are promoting Kadaknath Rural poultry farming in the tribal belt of Jhabua in M.P. They are encouraging and assisting farmers, unemployed educated youth, and members of the weaker section of society to take on poultry rearing and gain self-employment. Both Co-founders are Science Graduates from P.U. Chandigarh in 2012 and completed M.A.s in Social Entrepreneurship from TISS, Mumbai in 2014. They share a vision to become successful businessmen by creating jobs for society in the rural sector.

Vinod Taank

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Vinod is a Science graduate (B.Sc. Hons. Physics) and holds a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from the School of Management and Labour Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai. He aims to be a successful entrepreneur and to create more opportunities for employment generation in the area of rural development. He carried out his research thesis on ‘supply chain management in poultry business’, which involved an in-depth study of demand, supply, and structure of the Indian poultry sector. Currently, he is associated as a TISS-DBS Fellow and operates his venture in District Jhabua (M.P.).
