Our goal is to fill The Westin ballroom and our virtual stream with generous donors to raise $300,000. We need your help to reach this goal!

About the 2023 Upaya Gala
The 2022 Upaya Gala will shine a spotlight on our partner companies that are creating sustainable, climate-friendly jobs. Guests will learn how their philanthropy creates dignified jobs and gets recycled through Upaya to creating a lasting impact. You’ll hear from jobholders themselves about how the jobs you make possible are transforming their lives. We’re even inviting one of our partner entrepreneurs in India to give the keynote address. It’s going to be an incredible evening!

Ready to Host a Table?
Here’s what to do next!
1. Reserve Your Table
To reserve a table at the in-person gala, you can purchase a table here, or contact Upaya’s Director of Philanthropy, Suman, at sbhat-kincaid@upayasv.org if you would like to pay for your table a different way.
Once you purchase your table or confirm with our team, you will receive a confirmation email from our event partner, PayBee. The email contains a button to send automated email invitations, however, we encourage you to personally email, call, or message the people you would like to invite before using this feature in PayBee to let them know the automated invitation email is coming.
2: Invite Your Guests
Send a personal email, call, or message to the people you would like to invite to your table. You can find a sample email at the bottom of this page.
Each table can accommodate 10 guests, including yourself!
3. Manage Your Guest List
Click the blue “Invite Guests” button in your confirmation email to view and manage your guest list on your Table Captain Page.
4. Reserve Your Seats
Don’t forget to reserve a seat for yourself! From your Table Captain Page, click “Reserve” and enter your name, email address, and meal preference to add yourself to your table.
If you know your guests’ meal preferences, you can add any other confirmed guests to your table this way as well.
5. Register Your Guests
Click “Invite” and enter your guest’s name and email address. If you’re inviting a couple together, be sure to select the number of tickets this guest should have.
They will receive an automated invitation to register themselves for your table.
You can view the status of your invitations on your Table Captain Page anytime by clicking the blue “Invite Guests” button in your confirmation email.
