KhaDigi is a social enterprise working to revive the age-old traditions of textile craft while putting a 21st century “contemporary twist” on their products. Employing handloom weavers, dyers, block printers and other artisans, KhaDigi’s fabrics are either handspun or handwoven using cotton, silk, soya waste or bamboo—all of which are 100% sustainable. They work to ensure socio-economic stability for the 1000+ employed artisans and collaborate with them to explore new ideas for upcoming trends in fashion. By identifying clusters of skilled people willing to work with age-old traditions, KhaDigi is working to upskill these artisans in using advanced machinery as well as working with them on product development and marketing.
