Formerly known as Aikya Organics, Dhaanika creates market linkages for women-led farmer producer organizations that are cultivating chemical-free food through zero-budget natural farming. They aim to create an interconnected society based on trust and integrity where the farmers receive a fair income and the consumers are more conscious about the quality and seasonality of the food they consume.
Dhaanika is currently working with 1,200 women farmers through two FPOs and plans to reach 5,000 farmers in the next three years. They intend to make their brand “Jaivik Aahar” a household name by creating a niche of organic staples in an affordable price range.
