She has been a consultant to national and international organizations, including UN Women, and GIZ. Ekta has specialized in direction from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and Entrepreneurship Development from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She is an UnLtd India, CSA, DASRA, and BYCL fellow.
